About

I have been practising massage in some form for well over 20 years.  I started my career as a professional actress but soon discovered a passion for bodywork during an evening class in shiatsu.  It totally blew my mind and I was hooked.  I completely fell in love with massage - giving it and receiving it!  I often think I have the best job - I help people relax and get out of pain whilst getting to know them along the way.  How lucky am I!

I went on to complete extensive training in sports and remedial massage, myofascial release, acupuncture for sports injury, hot stone massage, pregnancy and post-natal massage, aromatherapy, Indian head massage and facelift massage.

I specialise in caring yet problem-solving massage treatments, if you have an issue or injury I want to fix it as quickly as possible.  I also want you to relax and feel differently when you leave to when you arrived.  My treatments are deep and specific but also very relaxing - who doesn’t love a head massage?  I will blend elements of different types of massage into each treatment depending what you need on the day.

I’ve been very lucky to work in many different settings such as touring with Take That and Jessie J, I was resident massage therapist at the Urdang Dance Academy for 12 years and have performed on-site massage for a number of dance companies as well as The Almeida Theatre and Radio 1.  I currently practice at Shine on the Green in Newington Green and Yoga on the Lane in Dalston.

I am a full member of the British Register of Complimentary Practitioners.
